Happy Monday, everyone! Who's ready to start this week off on a good note? I am! I had such a lovely weekend and was thrilled that it finally was over 60 degrees here in NYC! We reached a high of 80 degrees on Friday and I literally couldn't handle my excitement. Y'all seasonal affective disorder is so real and I think everyone in NYC, myself included, had been feeling it these past few rainy/snowy weeks but it finally was warm enough to rid myself of my puffy coat and wear dresses without tights! Hallelujah!On Friday night, Tom (my boyfriend) and I had dinner with our good friends Jessie & Abi at AlMar in Dumbo. It's an Italian restaurant right next to the Brooklyn Bridge with a rustic ambiance, family style seating and unbelievable food. From the Bruschetta appetizers that we tried to our pasta and the tiramisu for the dessert, it's was incredible. Totally recommend!
On Saturday, the weather was just as amazing as Friday and I ended up in Dumbo again haha with my sweet friend Kristin, who some of you might know from The Petite Pear Project. Her and I became friends over 2 years ago when we were both blogging and living in Brooklyn. We followed each other on Instagram and she emailed me one day asking if I wanted to grab coffee and since then we've been friends! She recently discovered that she enjoyed being behind the camera instead of in front of it, and has started shooting other bloggers. And yesterday I was invited to preview Loft's Friends & Family Sale and guys, there's so much good stuff. Marcy from Luxe and Louche and I were invited to help style customers for a social media event at Loft Flatiron in NYC. Thankfully the rain held off so that everyone could stop by and shop while sipping on some prosecco. I felt like I was back in my retail days helping out customers, styling pieces, it was so much fun!! I could help but find some pieces for myself and here are my must haves from the sale!
