#seesummerbetter with Warby Parker

There's no doubt about it, summers in NYC are my favorite. The city that never sleeps is even more vibrant during the summer season. What makes my summers in the city so great? movie nights in Bryant Park, good eats and a versatile pair of sunnies

I'm no stranger to bright colors and funky prints, especially in the summer, and these 'Reilly' sunglasses from Warby Parker are a perfect addition to any outfit.   Summer trends may come and go but these classic shades will never go out of style and believe me I'll be wearing these for many more summers to come.

How do you see summer? I #seesummerbetter and it's all thanks to Warby Parker.

Oh Paris! How I dreamed of traveling to such a beautiful city. A city so filled with culture, charm and romance was definitely on my bucket list as well. After a few days in London, I took a quick 2 Eurostar train ride to Paris. Even though we arrived on a rainy day it was still charming as ever. Paris reminded me very much of New York, incredible architecture, lots of people scrambling and great food. I stayed further out from the center city by a busy canal but was easily able to explore everything Paris had to offer by doing what the locals do best a take the Metro. From the moment we arrived Paris was nothing but an adventure. Our first night we wandered around and discovered La Rotonde - Stalingrad, that played amazing tunes while we sipped Rosé. We later ended up befriending some locals and dancing the night away to a samba band. No complaints there.

Paris romanced us with its too cool for school attitude and sweet charm which surrounded us on every street. From the Eiffel Tower standing tall over the city to the department store Printemps, confirming the belief that Barbie's dream house truly does exist, Paris was lovely.

A trip to Paris wasn't complete without delicious food & treats!
Macarons were a must!
I also reunited with an old friend that I had not seen in 7 years! Sweet Aline treated us to dinner and took us to the top of the Eiffel Tower. Such a treat!

Like the saying goes, Paris is always a good idea.

London: Adela Mei Separates

Visiting London was truly a dream come true. I had developed a London obsession after watching Love Actually many years ago and added London to my bucket-list. After lots of research and planning my girl Cynthia and I, booked our dream Europe vacation. With stuffed suitcases and passports in hand we headed to London to begin the holiday. We were lucky enough to experience abnormally hot and sunny weather our entire time in London, and didn't have to wear our wellies not once! We stayed in Soho right off of Oxford Circus, and for any fashionista that's interested in visiting London, stay there! We were a block away from Regents Street which was lined with store after store after store (Zara, Topshop, & Other Stories, Anthropologie, Longchamp & more). It was absolutely ideal and I found way more petite sections in London then here in the states. So jealous! I finally got to experience the heaven that is Boots (similar to an local drugstore/ ulta), Marks & Spencer's (the queen shops there and it's similar to our Macy's) and Liberty London which used to be a textile warehouse turned into incredible store.

After tons of exploring I finally came face to face with Tower bridge and it was even more amazing than I imagined. Big Ben was way more elaborate than I pictured and Buckingham Palace was gorgeous. After all that walking we did what the Brits do drink and eat! :) We stumbled upon a gems like Coven Market and Carnaby Street filled with delicious restaurants and adorable shops. If you're headed to London, I'd recommend the following restaurants for some good grub.

Visit Jackson & Rye for brunch, the bacon avocado eggs Benedict was unbelievable!
Craving something savory in an awesome outside atmosphere try Whyte & Brown. The sweet potato fries & creamed spinach were my favorites!
The brownie with caramel ice cream we had left me wanting more. Yum!

and if your sweetooth is as big as mine try Crosstown Donuts. I didn't get a picture but the donuts were phenomenal! :)

Overall I've decided I'm moving! As soon as I can afford it...
