Happy Friday, everyone! I hope you've had a great couple of days. It's been a few days since I've posted but I've been a little busy prepping for my trip. I'll share more of my packing and travel tips in upcoming posts but today I wanted to share this date night look. Lately, my boyfriend and I have been super busy with our multiple jobs, appointments, meetings, and we haven't been able to see much of each other. Last week alone we only saw each other once and we found ourselves missing each other. We knew we'd reach a point in our entrepreneurial careers that we'd be so busy that we'd barely see each other but the time came before we were ready. We grew used to seeing each other almost everyday to seeing each other maybe once or twice a week due to our schedules. I'm always very appreciative of the time we get to spend together because he is my best friend and I love every moment we share. We agreed to get back into making date nights a priority, it's certainly hard with a busy schedule but realized how important it was. Whether it's a casual or fancy date night; we make effort to make time for us.

I love dressing up for date nights, and this look from the Nordstrom sale has been one of my favorite. I already have planned 4 or 5 different ways of styling these pants for fall! I'm obsessed. These high waisted babies paired with this easy lacy tank was a hit for date night and would be perfect for a girl's night out. If you're into elevated basics like I am, this neutral look is honestly everything!! Please note that I will most likely be hemming these pants a bit so they fit better but I couldn't wait to shoot this look!

Thanks for reading today's post!

Xo,
Maia
